Lindy Hop
The granddaddy of all swing dances, the Lindy Hop is the fusion of African and European dance that evolved in Harlem, New York in the 1920s and 1930s. It is a street dance that is constantly evolving and is still alive today.
Charleston
The Charleston is a dance named for the harbor city of Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is great for medium to fast tempos and is a fun, energetic style that can be done solo or with a partner.
Simple Swing
Also called East Coast Swing or single-time Lindy, this is a simpler version of the Lindy Hop that is perfect for beginners. It's a great way to get started with swing dancing and applies on any dance floor.
About Me
Hey, I'm Freeman! I got hooked on dancing in 2009 and and have been grooving along ever since. My experience has taken me across the country and Europe to learn, teach, and expand my horizons. I've worked with some of the most inspiring dancers and musicians in the world and I'm excited to pass on what I've learned!
I love teaching and sharing my experience with others. I've taught thousands of hours to everyone from preschool to adults both locally and abroad. I believe that dance is for everyone and that it can bring joy and connection to people of all ages and backgrounds.

I teach all my lessons at Denver School of Social Dance, which operates out of the historic Evans School near Broadway and 11th Ave. Bathrooms and water are available on site. Parking is metered on the street and free on Sundays.
